As MC, producer, lyricist, and club DJ… not much lies outside the realm of his capabilities. His music has already been featured worldwide via such high profile outlets as: MTV, ESPN, EA Games, BET, E! Channel, A&E, USA, Discovery Networks, Nike, and Arclight Films just to name a few. While currently running Red Alert Studios in Manila he is working with major label artists as well as unsigned acts. In addition, as an artist himself he has shared the stage with a wide range of platinum artists including: Keyshia Cole, Bone Thugs, Trillville, Nappy Roots, and even hip-hop legends The 2 Live Crew.
Stylistically as an MC, Rhansum is best described as, “Lyrical Dirty South.” His words shine with the intelligence of Jay Z, the wordplay of Eminem, and the smart mouth of Ludacris. While currently in the Philippines he is a founding member of the “Supergroup” / Movement “The Renaissance” with some of the most influential veteran and upcoming artist from the Phillipines such as Pikaso, Dash, Chill, Jolo and R&B songtress Jazzee. As a Producer, his music ranges from certified club bangers, radio singles and international remixes, to scoring for BET (“American Gangster” – including hip hop, jazz, funk and classical soundtracks.) and ESPN with Hip Hop marching bands with full orchestration.
Rhansum is currently partnerning with Billy Hume and the multi-platinum ZONE STUDIOS in Atlanta (Lil Jon, NAS, Ludacris, Rich Boy, ShopBoys, Ying Yang, Bone Crusher) And with the “Queen of Filipino Hip Hop” Chill (Sony Music/ Illisit Records – Chinese Mafia, Madd Poets, DFT) to form Red Alert Music, with studios and offices in Atlanta and now Manila Philippines.
