MC Lupe Fiasco has released its video for “Battle Scars” from his upcoming album Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1 (Sept. 25). The said song, which features Australian singer Guy Sebastian.
The song is all about facing your problems so that you aren’t defined by your “battle scars,” so the bleak video takes place in seemingly war-ravaged buildings and streets. Once the song fades out, text commands the viewer to ”Turn off your computer right now“…and go outside and do something to change the world.
