Chris Lighty found himself lifeless at his home in the Bronx borough of New York on August 30. He was 44.
According to the NY Daily News, the police found his body full of blood on the basement patio with a 9-mm. pistol at his side.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation regarding the dead of Lighty.
New York Times named him as one of the most powerful figures in the hip-hop business, Lighty was the founder of Violator, a record label, management, and marketing company, which represented hip hop artists such as Nas, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep, Missy Elliott, L.L. Cool J, and 50 Cent.
He was also Sean Diddy Combs manager.
