Ellie Goulding made a cover of Active Child’s “Hanging on”, she collaborate with Tinie Tempah. she manages to keep the exquisite wonder present in the original while still making arrangement.
She manage to utilize harps and electronic rumbles plus her gorgeous soprano glides over this fantastical tune.
For some of you who didn’t know Ellie Goulding, she is a singer-songwriter from UK. Her first studio album “Lights” was released in 2010. She cover songs like “Your Song” from Elton John and other famous singers. Goulding has a soprano vocal range and her musical style has been compared to that of Kate Nash, Meiko, Lykke Li and Tracey Thorn.
In April 2012, Goulding stated that she hoped the album would be released in October 2012. Some of the producers for her upcoming 2nd album are Calvin Harris and dubstep king Skrillex.
