Ciara Goes Personal On Her First Single “I Bet” of an Upcoming Sixth Album “Jackie”

Yes, you read it right. If ever you are wondering where singer Ciara has been, and if you have been missing her voice on your playlist, she is now offering a new single from an upcoming album ”Jackie”, which is her sixth.

This time, the single “I Bet” goes deep and personal because the song is coming from an engagement cancelled because of infidelity.

In this track, CiCi is singing about ex-fiancé Future, a lover who did her wrong, for rumored infidelity. The former couple has an eight-month-old son together.

Despite the hur CiCi went through, she surprisingly still has love for the guy, as the lyrics went with: “I’m singing this song ’cause I love you… Right now it’s killing me ’cause now I have to find someone else when all I wanted was you.”

The Harmony Samuels-produced song is on mid-tempo, which is written by Ciara herself with Rock City. It is the first single on her sixth album “Jackie”, which was named after her mother. She shares on Twitter that she named the album as it is because she can now see the world through her mother Jackie’s eyes.
